Q&A Quick Tips

How do I create multiple color sequences for different sections in the same event? Set up separate Wave2.Club events for each audience block (for example, “Section 324,” “Section 325,” and so on), tailor the color sequence for that section, and distribute the matching link or QR code to the fans seated there. When showtime starts, each participant simply opens the event that matches their section name and the arena lights stay perfectly coordinated even though every section is running its own palette.

Synchronization & Timing

Wave2.Club uses a server-push command model: our server runs the sequence engine and broadcasts each color change directly to every connected device in real time. Participant devices simply display what the server tells them—they never need to calculate timing on their own. Minor visual differences can still occur due to factors outside our direct control:

We’re always refining our server-side broadcast engine, WebSocket delivery, and wake-recovery logic to keep every device showing the right color at the right moment.

Best Results

Ask participants to keep the Wave2.Club page visible and avoid switching apps mid‑event.

Battery Modes

Low Power / Battery Saver modes may delay animations—disable them for critical shows.

Stable Network

Encourage Wi‑Fi where possible. Moving between networks can cause a brief reconnect.

Wake Recovery

If a device sleeps and wakes, it automatically requests the current state from the server and catches up instantly.

QR Code Scanner Compatibility

Most modern smartphones can scan QR codes directly with their camera app. However, some older Android devices may need additional setup or alternatives:

Older Android Phones

If your camera doesn't automatically detect QR codes, you may need to manually activate the QR scanner feature in your camera settings or download a dedicated QR scanner app from the Google Play Store.

Alternative Method

Can't scan QR codes? Ask someone to send you the event URL directly via text message, email, or messaging app. You can then tap the link to join the event normally.

QR Scanner Apps

Popular free QR scanner apps include "QR & Barcode Scanner" and "QR Code Reader" - search for these in your app store if your built-in camera doesn't work.

Share Event Links

Event organizers can easily share the direct URL link alongside the QR code to ensure everyone can participate regardless of their device capabilities.

Pro Tip: If you're organizing an event, consider providing both the QR code AND the direct link to ensure maximum accessibility for all participants.

iPhone Home Screen Web App

On iPhone or iPad using Safari you can add Wave2.Club to your Home Screen for an app-like fullscreen experience:

  1. Open the site in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share icon.
  3. Select Add to Home Screen.
  4. Launch the new icon—no browser toolbars, cleaner visuals.

This is especially recommended for live event use.
